Job Type: Full-time (weekend + on-call rotation required)
Starting Salary: $40,000-$60,000


About Us

We’re a small, locally owned vacation rental company on the Oregon Coast, managing beautiful homes and helping guests make lifelong memories. As the Guest Services & Communications Director, you’ll be the front face of our business — the voice guests hear and the person who makes their stay special.

This is a critical role that combines reservations, guest communications, review responses, and marketing support. We want someone who is organized, calm, and friendly — but also creative and excited to make the role their own. You’ll develop relationships with guests, owners, and community partners while helping us shine as a small, professional, local team.


What You’ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for all guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints
  • Manage bookings across Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and direct platforms
  • Respond to guest reviews and prioritize guest feedback for the right departments
  • Write property descriptions, create guest books, and curate local recommendations
  • Assist with social media, email marketing, and website updates (WordPress)
  • Process guest payments and track simple expenses
  • Maintain spreadsheets, records, and general office administration
  • Rotate occasional on-call evenings for the guest hotline
  • Work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week
  • Jump in to support teammates when needed — we’re a small team!

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in hospitality, vacation rentals, customer service, or related field (preferred)
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor — able to anticipate guest needs before they ask
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced, small-team environment
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus:
    • Property management or reservations software (Guesty, OwnerRez, Hostfully, etc.)
    • Email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
    • Social media platforms
    • Canva or design tools
    • WordPress (basic content updates)
    • Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Docs, Sheets, Excel, Word)
