The Lighthouse is one of the original heritage oceanfront homes in Tierra Del Mar. The cabin was just recently lovingly restored by local artisans in 2018. Every corner of the cabin has been redone, from electrical, plumbing and septic systems to the hand-packed concrete countertops, vessel sinks, salvaged flooring and furnishings.

A temperature-controlled fireplace insert creates a relaxing ambiance, while dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows frame lovely ocean and sunset views, with Haystack Rock, Cape Kiwanda, Cape Lookout and horizon views beyond.
The comfortable furnishings are perfect for watching a favorite Netflix or Amazon Prime movie or show on the 50-inch, LED Smart TV with Sound-Bar stereo system. For the chefs in your group, the thoroughly equipped cozy, but stylish gourmet kitchen is a dream come true. An outdoor ice chest can be used to store extra drinks on the deck.
This 1,100-square-foot,vintage cabin sleeps up to six guests. The master suite features a comfortable queen bed with views from the landing and a half-bath en suite. There are two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and another with a handcrafted twin bunkbed. Games are stored in the bunk-room cabinet along with some children’s books. Adults may be interested in the small collection of novels and design books in the main living area cabinet.
The main floor has a washer and dryer that make it ultra-convenient to clean up after a day at the beach.

The village of Tierra Del Mar is a small community of traditional beach homes 3 miles north of Pacific City along the Three Capes Scenic Route. There are several quiet lanes lined with both historic cabins and larger beach homes that all lead to direct beach access. All homes in Tierra Del Mar are a quick, easy walk to the beach. The beach here is quiet and long—beachcombers can walk for hours down this lengthy stretch that is relatively undiscovered. It is a good spot for beachcombers who often find agates and Japanese glass floats. Sandlake Dunes recreation area is 4 miles to the north.
Guests will check in at our local, convenient office in Pacific City. After hours arrivals will be accommodated.

5 night minimum in summer. For Summer Bookings between 7/1-9/4: There may not be one or two day gaps. So if you book a stay allowing this type of gap between bookings, you may be asked to cancel or move dates. We apologize for inconvenience but the online booking system does not allow for this type of rule.
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval.
After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.
The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.
Cancellation Policy: 1/2 the total cost of the Booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 21 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35.v
